Yarn agent, Arthur William Clements, was buried in Nottingham Church Cemetery on 30th June 1916. Aged 34 in the 1911 Census, he appears to have been a member of the local Special Constabulary.

“The funeral, in the Church Cemetery, Nottingham, to-day [30th June 1916], of Mr. A. W. Clements, of 5, William-road, West Bridgford, was attended by the commander (Mr. A.Hirst) and a large number of members of the No. 6 Company of the City Special Constables. In business life the deceased was associated with Messrs. Wm. Clements and Sons, yarn agents.”

'Nottingham Evening Post', 30th June 1916.
