Pte. Arthur Worsdale, Robin Hood Rifles, Killed in Action 30th June 1917

Pte. Arthur Worsdale, 1/7th (Robin Hood Rifles) Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, was killed in action 30th June 1917. He is buried in Aix-Noulette Communal Cemetery Extension.

“WORSDALE. – In sweetest memory of our dear son Arthur, killed in action June 30th, 1917. Never to be forgotten. – Mother, dad, family.” [1]

He was the 22 year-old son of William and Annie Worsdale, of 18 Walnut Tree Lane, Nottingham.
