“THEATRES AND ZEPPELINS.
“WARNINGS THREATENED RAIDS TO BE GIVEN.
“Apparently (says the Stage) the military authorities have consented to issue warnings to music-halls when air raids are expected, for the following notice now appears in the programmes at most the suburban halls:
“Arrangements have been made that a warning of a threatened air raid will be communicated by the military authorities to this theatre. On receipt of any such warning, the audience will be informed, with a view to enable persons who may wish to proceed home to do so.
“The warning will be communicated, as far as possible, at least twenty minutes before any actual attack can take place. There will, therefore, be no cause for alarm or undue haste.
“Those who decide to leave are warned not loiter about the sheets, and if bombardment or gunfire commences before they reach home they should at once take cover.”
