Pte. Horace Davis, Died of Wounds as a Prisoner of War, 2nd July 1917

Pte. Horace Davis, 12th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, died of wounds in German hands 2nd July 1917. He is buried in Mons (Bergen) Communal Cemetery.

“DAVIS. - In loving memory of Pte. H. Davis, died of wounds, prisoner in Germany, July 2nd, 1917. - Cousins Davis.” [1]

He was the 34 year-old son of the late Frederick and Emma Davis, of Hucknall Torkard.
