“WALKED INTO RESERVOIR.

“It was said of Mabel Phillips, 21, of Kimberley, who was charged at the Nottingham Shire Hall to-day [3rd July 1918] with attempted suicide, that she walked into the Moorgreen Reservoir. She had lost her father in an accident, her husband was serving, and under the strain her nerves had given way. She was discharged upon her mother undertaking look after her.”

'Nottingham Evening Post', 3rd July 1918.
