Pte. Edward Frettingham, Base Details, Royal Army Medical Corps, died of dysentery at 33rd British General Hospital, Makine, Mesopotamia on 29th June 1917. He is buried in Basra War Cemetery.

“FRETTINGHAM. – In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Pte. E. Frettingham, R.A.M.C., who died in Mesopotamia June 29th, 1917. Ever in our thoughts.” [1]

He was the son of John Frettingham.
