“FATALITY AT SHERWOOD COLLIERY.

“Whilst he was engaged in ripping at the Sherwood Colliery, to-day [29th June 1915], some stone fell on the head of Robert Cotton, aged 28, of Dale-street, Mansfield, and killed him instantly. Thomas Spate, of Blenheim-street, Mansfield Woodhouse, a pony driver, who was standing close by and witnessed the accident was himself injured.”
