2nd Cpl. Bert Hopcroft, 59th Company Royal Engineers

2nd Cpl., later A/C.S.M., Bert Hopcroft, 59th Field Company Royal Engineers, landed in France on 18th August 1914. On 30th June 1915 he was reported to have been wounded, in hospital in Reading [1] and to have been mentioned in despatches. [2
